- Teens (6th -12th grade) and a friend if they so choose.
Where is the event?
- Mayo Civic Center in Rochester, MN
When is the event?
- October 16-17, 2025
What are the event details?
- Thursday, October 17
- 3:30PM: Teens meet at VVAG
- 4:00PM: Group departs from VVAG
- Dinner: Send money to eat somewhere in Rochester or pack a sack "lunch".
- 7:30PM: SESSION I w/ Joey Silva
- 11:00PM: Teens arrive back to Lake City.
- Friday, October 18
- 11:30AM: Teens meet at VVAG
- 12:00PM: Group departs from VVAG
- Lunch: Teens should eat lunch before we go or bring a sack lunch to eat on the way there.
- Dinner: Send money to eat somewhere in Rochester or pack a sack "lunch".
- 1:30PM: SESSION II w/ Missions w/ Pastor Gabi O’Rourke
- 7:00PM: SESSION III w/ Joey Silva
- 11:00PM: Teens arrive back to Lake City.
How much does it cost?
- Pre-registration is $57 per student. Payment Deadline - Sunday, Sept 19.
- Registration Cost as of Monday, Sept 20 - $62 per student
- Checks can be made out to VVAG with "Youth Convention" in the memo line and dropped off at the church office or given to Allie S.
How will they be transported with the Church Group?
- Teens will be travel in the church van. Space may be limited.
- If teens live in town: we can drop them off at home each night.
- If teens live out of town: a parent should pick them up at the church upon arrival.
- Other arrangements: For teens going home with a friend or getting dropped off at a friend's house, parents, please let Allie or Alex know ahead of time!
All Parents/Guardians MUST:
- Complete the required 2025 permission slip. This slip will cover all teen events for the remainder of the year when travel is required by the church.
How do I sign my child/ren up to attend?
- There is an interest form located at the Information Center in the church foyer.
- Waivers and permission slips will be available at the church.
- Completed waivers and permission slips can be given to Allie or Alex prior to the event.
