Hello Friends!! Are you ready for another VVAG Advent Scavenger Hunt? In case you have not yet heard about this adventure, here is a friendly reminder.
At Valley View Assembly, we believe Christmas is more than a time to "gift" our families and loved ones! It's more than figgy pudding or Christmas movies!!
It's a time to honor the Christ Child's Birth. If it weren't for Jesus, we would have nothing to celebrate! We have put our heads together and thought of another fun family activity for the Advent season. (Advent is the 4 weeks leading up to Christmas.)
We are offering a Scavenger Hunt with a Christmas Theme! if you've been looking for an activity to share with your family this Holiday, join in the fun!!
Here is how it works:
1.) There will be a special hidden ornament each week during Advent (see photo)
2.) Check the following areas, each week, for a clue to help you find the ornament. The Valley View AG website, “Valley View AG" FB page, The Lake City Chamber of Commerce site, Lake City Graphic and Shopper. The clues will be posted on those places each week.
December 6 December 13
3.) If you find the ornament, return it to Valley View Assembly of God Church (305th West Grant Street, Lake City Minnesota), where you can exchange it for a child's gift AND a Christmas ham for your family. (office open 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday - Friday) One gift and one ham will be given away each week.
4.) Search the next week's clue to see if the ornament was found each week!
Have fun searching and........ have a Merry Christmas from your friends at Valley View Assembly of God!!!!!! *Please note, only one winner per household will be accepted.
